Job summary

Religent Systems is seeking an experienced Integration Architect to lead enterprise integration initiatives across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. You will define standards, patterns, and roadmaps, architect API-led ecosystems, and govern MFT/B2B strategies while driving CoE practices and governance.

The role requires hands-on experience with Boomi, MuleSoft, and Azure Integration Services, plus strong API security and CI/CD expertise.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise integration architecture strategies, standards, patterns, and roadmaps.

• Design and govern API-first and API-led integration ecosystems; governance and lifecycle management.
• Architect secure MFT and B2B integration; Axway or equivalent platforms.
• Define monitoring, security, and SLA-driven operational processes for high-volume integrations.
• Design MCP server architectures, tool registries, access controls, governance, and security frameworks.

• Drive integration Center of Excellence (CoE) practices, governance, standards, and reusable frameworks.

iPaaS & Cloud Integration

• Architect and govern integration solutions using platforms such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, and/or Azure Integration Services.
• Define tenant/environment structures, deployment strategies, security policies, integration standards, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design cloud-native integration architectures supporting scalability, availability, performance, and maintainability.
• Evaluate integration platforms and technologies based on business and technical requirements.

API Management & Architecture

• Design and govern API-first and API-led integration ecosystems.
• Experience with API management platforms such as Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway, or equivalent.
• Define REST/GraphQL API standards, API lifecycle management, versioning, security, and governance.
• Implement security frameworks using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and related API security mechanisms.
• Establish API developer portal and API governance standards.

MFT & B2B Integration

• Architect secure Managed File Transfer (MFT) and B2B integration solutions.
• Experience with Axway or similar MFT platforms.
• Design and govern EDI, AS2, PGP encryption, partner onboarding, and secure file exchange frameworks.
• Define monitoring, alerting, security, and SLA-driven operational processes for high-volume B2B integrations.

AI & MCP Integration

• Design and implement emerging integration architectures supporting AI agents and enterprise systems.
• Experience or strong understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and enterprise AI integration patterns.
• Design MCP server architectures, tool registries, access controls, governance, and security frameworks.
• Enable secure and auditable AI-to-system interoperability across enterprise applications and data sources.

Architecture Governance & Leadership

• Lead architecture governance and participate in Architecture Review Boards (ARB).
• Establish enterprise integration principles, reference architectures, design standards, and reusable integration patterns.
• Mentor architects and engineering teams and provide technical leadership across integration programs.
• Work closely with senior client stakeholders, COE architects, enterprise architects, technology leaders, and business teams.
• Translate complex integration challenges into practical, scalable, and business-aligned technology strategies.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps, solution proposals, estimations, and investment/business cases.

Required Skills

• 18 to 22 years of overall IT experience
• 8+ years of Integration Architecture / Technical Architecture experience
• Strong experience in Enterprise Integration Architecture
• Hands-on architecture experience with Dell Boomi, MuleSoft and/or Azure Integration Services
• Strong API Management and API Architecture experience
• Experience with Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway, or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of REST, GraphQL, OAuth2, OIDC, JWT
• Experience with MFT/B2B integration and Axway or equivalent
• Strong understanding of EDI, AS2, PGP, partner onboarding
• Experience with CI/CD and cloud integration deployments
• Strong understanding of event-driven and asynchronous integration architectures
• Experience with integration governance, architecture standards, and CoE
• Knowledge/experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and AI integration is highly desirable
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant cloud/integration/API certifications are an advantage.
• Experience working with large enterprise integration programs and global stakeholders is preferred.
