Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a Senior Information Security Operator Level 2 Crew Leader to lead a SOC L2 crew, ensure timely reaction to security events, and coordinate technical and management tasks.

The role blends hands-on security monitoring with leadership responsibilities, process documentation, and interview participation to strengthen the SOC team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or IT/Systems/Computers certification.
• Monitoring and analysis of cybersecurity tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus and EDR solutions.
• Experience with execution of standard SOC procedures.
• Experience with triage of security events and incidents, detect anomalies and report remediation actions.
• Experience with analysis of phishing emails reported by internal end users.
• Willingness to develop in information security and SOC operations.
• Working knowledge of security.
• Ability to communicate technical details effectively in writing and verbally.

As a Senior Information Security Operator Level 2 Crew Leader, you will ensure that the SOC L2 crew provides security monitoring and is reacting timely to security events as identified. The role requires a mix of technical and management skills.

Specific Assignments

• The main responsibilities of a Senior Information Security Operator and Crew coordinator:
• Providing technical support and expertise to members of SOC L2 crew
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management
• Creating process documentation
• Creating shift schedule
• Responding to questions and escalations from other crews
• Reviewing work and providing feedback to underlings
• Participating in interviews for potential employees

Other Assignments

• Support L1 & L2 colleagues as required
