WPP Production is seeking a Senior HR Manager for its Hyderabad office. In this role, you will help shape an inclusive workplace and act as a cultural ambassador to bridge our teams in India and the US.

• 6+ years of experience as an HR Manager.
• Experience working with Global Teams, preferably US teams.

What does a Senior HR Manager do at WPP Production?

As a Senior HR Manager at WPP Production you will play a vital role in shaping a thriving and inclusive workplace in our Hyderabad office. You will act as a cultural ambassador, bridging the gap between our Hyderabad and US teams by fostering understanding, collaboration and a shared sense of belonging. This involves overseeing all People Team functions, ensuring alignment with global HR initiatives while remaining sensitive to local customs and working styles.

Cultural Integration and Team Cohesion

• Champion a unified and positive team culture that reflects both WPP’s global values and the unique strengths of our Hyderabad team.
• Develop and implement initiatives that promote cross‑cultural understanding, communication and collaboration between teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor and resource for employees seeking guidance on navigating cultural differences and fostering inclusive practices.

Strategic HR Leadership

• Develop and execute HR strategies in alignment with global initiatives and business objectives, ensuring local relevance and impact.
• Collaborate with senior management and cross‑functional teams to provide strategic guidance on organisational changes, talent management, HR policies and programme implementation.

Employee Relations and Performance Management

• Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment where all employees feel valued, respected and empowered to contribute their best.
• Coach and guide managers on performance management best practices, employee development and conflict resolution.
• Address employee grievances and conduct thorough and impartial investigations as needed.

Compliance and Policy Management

• Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations in India.
• Develop, update and implement HR policies and procedures that are aligned with global standards and local requirements.
• Manage employee records and HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.

Talent Development and Engagement

• Identify training and development needs and help design programmes that enhance employee skills, foster leadership growth and support career progression.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and provide opportunities for employees to expand their knowledge and expertise.

Compensation and Benefits

• Partner with the Payroll Administrator to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll and benefits.
• Conduct regular compensation analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.

HR Metrics and Reporting

• Track key HR metrics, analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide insights to inform decision‑making.
• Prepare and present reports on HR activities, initiatives and key performance indicators to stakeholders.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in Human Resources (including Payroll & benefits) and 6+ years of HR Manager experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business Administration is preferred.
• Experience working with Global Teams (preferably US teams).
• Experience rolling out shift systems (swing & night shifts), policies, guidance and compliance.
• Excellent managerial and employee coaching skills, interpersonal and communication skills; ability to lead and facilitate training and present.
• Act as a strategic business partner and consultant, the ability to assess gaps, be proactive and offer creative solutions.
