Job summary

Whirlpool India Limited is seeking a seasoned Embedded Systems test lead to define test plans, verify requirements, and own SES configuration and GPA accountability.

You will collaborate with SES staff, Platform V&V and product teams to ensure flawless delivery, drive early approvals, and guide defect fixes across the AD and PD space.

This role offers exposure to global projects and a path to influence hardware, code, validation, and CI/CD practices within Whirlpool India.

The team you will be a part of

Be a partner with the SES Embedded System, SES Staff, Platform V&V to deliver "Product" Leadership, with the best in class infrastructure and processes for Electronics development, ensuring flawless delivery of Embedded System which are verified and validated, that are leveraged across multiple regions and project executions. Embed Test Architecture and Deployment Roadmap (VC, VS, Bugs) Enhanced test execution Productivity through roadmap implementation 100% Requirement to test traceability and zero defect leakage.

This role in summary

Define test plan in order to verify (are requirements satisfied?) SES configuration SES DEV and IND GPA accountability. Embedded System V&V project ownership Early & continue connection with product approval (Product GPA + CSR include SES GPAs) Defects fix guidance. Focus on "Approval Phase" for SES configuration

Your responsibilities will include

• 3-5 years Engineering & Technical - Program / Project Delivery experience (Embedded System module deliverables)
• Deep product knowledge as per platform ownership
• Ability to work cross-functionally and to influence others
• Demonstrated experience and Knowledge in Test Architecture
• Demonstrated competency with delivery of projects throughout entire AD and PD space
• Competent in Hardware, Code, Validation, EMC, Electronics Reliability, Codes and Standards, OPEX, Lean Mindset, Lean PD
• Working knowledge of the tools used. Predictability and traceability
• Expertise in Product, Hardware, Code, strong understanding about Continuous Integration agile and DevOps processes

• Proactives engage in planning as per WPD.Gates.
• Review Test Plans prior to testing for optimal testing management
