GALAXEYE SPACE SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer to lead end-to-end hardware design for airborne and space applications. The role focuses on accurate schematics, robust PCB layouts, and reliable power architectures in a fast-growing space-tech environment.

You will collaborate with firmware teams and external partners to ensure AS9100-aligned quality, perform rigorous testing, and document designs for cross-functional teams across the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of demonstrated electronic hardware design experience.
• Hands-on schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium, KiCad or Eagle.
• Experience with MCUs/SoCs and interfaces including SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, PCIe, USB, MIPI, LVDS.
• Power supply design including SMPS, DC-DC converters, LDOs, PMICs, and battery-operated systems with BMS.
• EMI/EMC-aware PCB design and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end hardware architecture including design, manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing for airborne and space applications.
• Gather system requirements, select components and create BoMs with cost, availability and lead times in mind.
• Design power architectures including DC-DC converters and power budgeting.
• Develop, review and maintain schematics and PCB layouts for embedded hardware systems.
• Interface RFSoC/MPSoC, FPGAs, MCUs/SoCs with peripherals; integrate and validate SPI, UART, I²C, GPIO and PCIe.
• Coordinate with vendors for fabrication and testing in aerospace standards (AS9100).
• Collaborate with firmware teams to support hardware bring-up, debugging and validation.

Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer | 4+ Years experience

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end system-level hardware architectureincluding design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing ofhigh-reliability electronics for airborne and space applications.

• Experience with microcontrollers and SoCs, peripheralinterfacing, and communication protocols including SPI, I²C, UART, CAN,PCI-Express, USB, MIPI, LVDS, DDRx and others.
• Expertise in power supply design, including SMPS, DC-DCconverters, LDOs, PMICs, and battery-operated systems with BMS.
• Advanced hardware and firmware debugging skills foreffective troubleshooting of embedded system boards.
• Hands-on experience in SI, PI, and EMI/EMC–compliantPCB design, covering stack-up planning, impedance control, power distributionand decoupling, grounding strategies, and EMI mitigation techniques.
• Experience in designing schematics and layouts for RFcircuits, integration for wireless modules is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work ina collaborative team environment.
