Job summary

RGBSI is seeking an experienced embedded hardware design engineer in Bengaluru, India, to work on SoC-based platform designs and ensure signal and power integrity across boards. The role emphasizes hands-on debugging, bring-up, and RF/EMI compliance with CISPR and IEC standards.

Candidates should have 4–8 years of hardware design experience, proficiency with Cadence OrCAD, Altium, and LTSpice, and familiarity with reliability methodologies such as DFMEA and MTBF.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or related field.
• 4-8 years of hands-on hardware design experience.
• Experience in embedded hardware design.
• Experience in SoC-based platform design.
• Solid understanding of Signal & Power Integrity (SI/PI) principles.
• Proficiency in schematic design tools (Cadence OrCAD, Altium) and component library management.
• Proficiency in circuit simulation tools (LTSpice) for power integrity analysis.
• Experience with reliability methodologies: WCCA, DFMEA, FIT/MTBF.
• EMI/EMC compliance experience, including CISPR, ISO 11452, and IEC 61000 standards.
• Hands-on experience with lab instrumentation for debug and validation (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer).
• Strong root-cause debugging and board bring-up skills.
