Job summary

WNS Global Services is seeking a Sr Group Manager to govern general accounting processes and ensure timely month-end close, journal entries, accruals and reconciliations. The role requires extensive outsourcing experience and leadership of a large, diverse team.

You will oversee analytical reviews of ledger accounts, balance sheet substantiation, monthly management packs, and KPI reporting while maintaining delivery standards and cross-training within the team.

Responsibilities

• Governance of the general accounting process including review of month-end close, journals, accruals and reconciliations.
• Analytical review of ledger accounts (pre-close).
• Month-end close including journals, feeders and recharges.
• Reconciliation/substantiation of balance sheet accounts.
• Monthly management reports and balance sheet governance packs.
• Balance sheet reconciliation for all businesses.
• Preparation of packs for monthly Balance Sheet governance meetings.
• Management of online account reconciliation platforms.
• Review of overall delivery and KPI/SLAs reporting.
• Cross-training within the team and resilience planning.

The Sr Group Manager is responsible for the governance of General accounting process and ensure review of month end close process, journals, accruals, reconciliations, etcAround 13 years of experience in outsourcing environment across any industry vertical and managing a diverse team of 50+ FTEs Scope of work to include Analytical review of ledger accounts (Pre close) Month end close (incl. journals / feeders and recharges) Reconciliation / substantiation of balance sheet accounts Monthly management reports Balance Sheet reconciliation for all businesses Preparation of packs for monthly Balance Sheet governance meeting Manage online account reconciliation platforms Review of the overall delivery Maintainng and reporting KPIs/SLAs Maintain Cross training within the team and Resilience plan

Qualifications

Qualified Accountant or Semi Qualified with a minimum of 12 Years of relevant experience
