Job summary

Hansa Aerospace India Private Limited is seeking an experienced engineer to develop and extend onboard guidance, navigation, and flight-control software for UAVs and autonomous platforms.

You will tune state estimation and navigation, validate features via bench tests, and collaborate with the mechanical team on flight envelope parameters while owning HIL test integration and regression testing.

Qualifications

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Aerospace, Robotics, Controls, or related field.
• 5+ years working with flight control or guidance software for UAVs or autonomous vehicles.
• Strong software development skills (Python and/or C++) and familiarity with a common autopilot/flight-controller ecosystem.
• Practical experience with state estimation and guidance/navigation laws.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend onboard guidance, navigation, and flight-control software.
• Tune state-estimation and navigation solution, integrating additional correction sources as needed.
• Validate new and existing navigation features through structured bench testing.
• Contribute flight-control input to structural and flight-envelope parameters in coordination with the mechanical team.
• Own hardware-in-the-loop test integration and regression testing of the guidance/control software.
• Follow sound engineering practice by reusing proven flight-controller functionality rather than duplicating it.
