Job summary

Sandoz India is seeking a Data Engineer - Databricks to design, build and optimize data pipelines, architectures and datasets. You will collaborate with Stakeholder Success Teams to deliver reliable data solutions in line with regulatory standards.

You will work with Databricks, PySpark, AWS and Python to implement scalable pipelines, ensure data quality and security, and document data models and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong background in the pharmaceutical industry and its related data
• Proficiency with Databricks, pyspark, AWS and Python.
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with big data technologies
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines on Databricks.

• Collaborate with data architects for the data modelling through bronze, silver, gold layer

• Implement data security and compliance best practices.
• Monitor data pipeline performance and conduct necessary maintenance and updates.
• Document data pipeline processes, technical specifications and data models.
