We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Global Assignment Consultant (SGAC) to support the international relocation needs of our corporate clients. The SGAC will serve as the primary point of contact for international assignees, coordinating a wide range of services in alignment with the client s international assignment policies and procedures.
This role involves managing a reduced caseload (approximately 60% of a standard GAC caseload), ensuring consistency across the account, supporting operational excellence, and serving as the first point of escalation for assignee issues.
Key Responsibilities
Assignment Management & Assignee Support
Oversee end-to-end delivery of global assignment services including policy counseling, destination services, immigration, household goods, and repatriation.
Provide personalized consultation to assignees throughout the assignment lifecycle.
Interpret and apply client policies to provide tailored advice and solutions.
Manage assignment-related expenses and ensure policy compliance.
Client & Internal Coordination
Collaborate with internal teams and Global Certified Providers to ensure seamless service delivery.
Support Global Account Management in achieving client goals and continuous improvement.
Participate in client meetings and reviews; prepare reports and insights as needed.
Client HR Communication & Policy Exception Management
Interface with client HR teams regarding relocation matters impacting employees and families.
Manage exception requests and communicate status updates.
Address issues proactively with clear, solution-oriented communication.
Team Oversight & Escalation Management
Manage GAC caseload assignments and workload balance.
Maintain and update all forms and tools used across the account.
Train new team members on client-specific processes.
Act as the first point of escalation for GACs on service-related issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in global relocation or assignment management.
Strong knowledge across multiple areas of global mobility (e.g., immigration, home sale/purchase, policy counseling).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong client service mindset.
Proven ability to handle complex, high-touch relocations with professionalism and empathy.
Demonstrated excellence in performance, including QS scores of 4.30% or higher.
