Burns & McDonnell in Bengaluru seeks a senior GIS leader to drive ArcGIS Utility Network projects for electric, gas, and water utilities. You will guide data migration, governance, and automation while mentoring BMI GIS teams.

This role requires deep ArcGIS expertise, SME-level knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcFM, and a track record of delivering complex GIS programs. On-site engagement in Bengaluru is expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master's or Bachelor's in a GIS-related field and have substantial GIS project experience.
• Strong expertise with ArcGIS suite and Enterprise geodatabases.
• Experience leading GIS modernization, data migration, and topology validation.

Description du poste

• Lead the delivery and implementation of ArcGIS Utility Network projects for electric, gas, and water utilities.
• Provide technical leadership for GIS modernization, data migration, schema mapping, and network topology validation initiatives.
• Mentor, train, and upskill BMI GIS professionals through active participation in live projects, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcFM, and Enterprise Geodatabases (SDE).
• Define and implement best practices for GIS data quality, governance, workflows, and automation.
• Collaborate with BMUS project teams and clients to gather requirements, develop solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
• Support integration of GIS with enterprise systems such as SAP, Maximo, Cityworks, and Trimble Unity.
• Drive process improvements through automation using Python, SQL, FME, and related technologies.
• Manage and guide GIS project teams, including resource planning, technical reviews, and delivery oversight.
• Assist in proposal development, solution architecture, estimation, and capability-building initiatives for future Utility Network opportunities.
• Work closely with leadership to establish and execute a roadmap for reducing the Utility Network skills gap between BMI and BMUS.
• Ensure project deliverables met quality standards, client expectations, and organizational processes.

• Master's degree in GIS/Geoinformatics and/or Bachelors in Civil Engineering or any relevant field
• 7+ years of experience.
