Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack development experience with ownership of complex applications.
• Proficiency in ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, and SASS/Less.
• Strong API design in C#/.NET Core with Web APIs and MVC patterns.
• Experience with Azure cloud, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with microservices, CQRS, and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

Newfire is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end applications. This role requires expertise in ReactJS and .NET Core, with strong proficiency in cloud technologies and DevOps practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

You will work on a web application that will serve patients' needs, allow them easier and faster access to necessary healthcare treatments, and speed up the process of approving healthcare insurance. Besides the technical challenges laid in front of you, you will also work on a project with a significant social impact.

Your day-to-day activities:

• Develop scalable, high-performance web applications using ReactJS and .NET Core.
• Build efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end and back-end code.
• Develop responsive user interfaces leveraging ReactJS, NextJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, and SASS/Less.
• Implement state management solutions such as Redux or MobX.
• Design and develop robust APIs using C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as MSSQL.
• Ensure software quality through code reviews, automated tests, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize application performance and resolve critical issues.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies.
• Maintain version control using Git.

You're a perfect match if you have:

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with demonstrated ownership of complex, end-to-end applications.
• Expertise in ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, and SASS/Less.
• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript tooling and state management libraries (Redux, MobX, or similar).
• Expert-level proficiency in C#, .NET, and .NET Core, including designing and building Web APIs and MVC architecture.
• Deep experience with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core (EF Core), advanced LINQ, and Dependency Injection (DI).
• Familiarity with C# ecosystem capabilities, including SignalR, Blazor, and Razor Pages.
• Strong knowledge of architectural patterns, including SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, and Microservices.
• Proven experience with CQRS, Event-Driven Architecture, and message brokers (RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus) for asynchronous systems.
• Strong grasp of performance optimization and caching strategies (Redis, MemoryCache), as well as monitoring tools (Application Insights, New Relic).
• Extensive experience with cloud environments (Azure strongly preferred, AWS or Google Cloud secondary).
• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Azure Functions, App Services, and related cloud-native capabilities.
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Strong understanding of API security, identity, and authorization protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT Authentication, and OWASP best practices).
• Hands-on experience with unit and integration testing tools and frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, Selenium, Cypress).
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and advocate for software design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proven track record of working effectively in Agile teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep templates.
• Deep experience in secure coding strategies, rate limiting, and advanced data protection practices.
