Job summary

Lever, Inc. seeks a senior technical consultant to design and deliver enterprise applications on SAP S/4HANA, combining SAPUI5, Fiori elements, React, TypeScript, Node.js, and SAP CAP.

You will own end-to-end solutions, from data models to user interfaces, testing, and deployment, in a remote, international setting. You will build AI-powered features, document-processing workflows, and multi-step AI agents, mentor peers, and contribute to proposals and proofs-of-concept while applying

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori development experience.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, SAP CAP, OData and REST APIs expertise.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori administration and O2C/P2P business processes.
• Practical AI coding agent experience with rigorous code review.
• Full-stack development mastery and modern software engineering practices.
• Excellent communication, able to explain complex concepts to customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise apps using SAPUI5, Fiori elements, React, TypeScript, Node.js, and SAP CAP.
• Build scalable OData and REST services on SAP BTP.

This is a senior technical consulting role focused on building enterprise applications and AI-powered solutions on top of SAP S/4HANA.
You will own solutions end to end, from data models and backend services to intuitive user interfaces, testing, and deployment.
The role combines modern web development, SAP technologies, cloud services, and emerging AI capabilities.
You will work directly with customers and SAP functional consultants to translate business needs into scalable and user-friendly solutions.
The position also offers opportunities to create AI agents, document-processing capabilities, and intelligent automation workflows.
As a senior member of the team, you will contribute to technical workshops, prototypes, proposals, and the development of other engineers.

Accountabilities

• Design and develop enterprise applications using SAPUI5, Fiori elements, React, TypeScript, Node.js, and SAP CAP.

• Build scalable OData and REST services on SAP Business Technology Platform.

• Develop AI-powered features, document-processing solutions, and multi-step AI agents.

• Design clean-core SAP extensions that enhance business functionality while maintaining maintainable architectures.

• Create intuitive, high-quality user experiences aligned with modern application development practices.

• Own solutions across the full development lifecycle, including data modeling, backend development, frontend implementation, testing, and deployment.

• Collaborate closely with customers and SAP functional consultants to understand requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.

• Present technical concepts, prototypes, and proposed solutions to customers and stakeholders.

• Contribute to workshops, proof-of-concepts, and technical proposals.

• Mentor developers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the growth of the wider consulting team.

• Apply AI-assisted development tools responsibly, reviewing and testing generated code to maintain quality, security, and reliability.

• Support continuous improvement of development practices, automation, testing, and deployment processes.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• 5+ years of hands-on SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori development experience.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, SAP CAP, OData, and REST APIs.

• Experience with Git, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.

• Knowledge of SAP Fiori administration and familiarity with Order-to-Cash (O2C) or Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business processes.

• Practical experience using AI coding agents, combined with a disciplined approach to reviewing, validating, and testing AI-generated code.

• Strong understanding of full-stack application development and modern software engineering practices.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience presenting technical solutions, prototypes, or architecture concepts to customers.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a consulting environment.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with SAP functional consultants, developers, customers, and other stakeholders.

• Experience with React, SAP Joule Studio, SAP AI Core, LangGraph, n8n, Integration Suite, EWM, or TM is an advantage.
