Job summary

SAP Fioneer in Pune is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Cloud Native Developer to contribute to banking innovation. You will build modern frontend UIs with ReactJS and SAP UI5 Web Components, design scalable microservices with Java/Spring Boot, and deploy on Kubernetes in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of relevant software development experience.
• Proven UI development experience with ReactJS and SAP UI5 Web Components.
• Strong understanding of frontend concepts: state management, component-based architecture, responsive design.
• Backend experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST, Spring Data, Spring Security, SOAP.
• Cloud-native microservices on Kubernetes (Azure, AWS, SAP BTP Kyma or similar).
• Containerization with Docker.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Git repos.
• Experience with Helm Charts and event-driven architectures is a plus.
• Banking domain experience is a plus.

About the role

As a Full Stack Cloud Native Developer, you will be joining our Banking Innovation team in Pune (remote work is possible). You have the opportunity to contribute to product development for innovative banking solutions, which we create in a collaborative fashion with our customers. This includes aspects of technical design, development of modern, responsive frontend UI using ReactJS and SAP UI5 Web Components, and seamless integration with backend microservices. You will be responsible for designing and building reusable UI components, ensuring consistency, usability, and high-quality user experience across applications. You will also be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native microservices using Spring Boot in Kubernetes-based environments. You will work with cloud-native DevOps practices including containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments. You will be working with geographically distributed teams seamlessly.

• 8-10 years of relevant experience in software development in skills listed below.
• Proven experience of UI development using ReactJS and SAP UI5 Web Components in multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend concepts including state management, component-based architecture, and responsive design.
• Experience in building reusable, scalable UI components and optimizing frontend performance.
• Strong programming experience in Java, Spring Boot framework, REST API development, Spring Data, Spring Security, SOAP integration.
• Experience in cloud-based microservices-based application development using Kubernetes on Azure, AWS, SAP BTP Kyma or similar.
• Proficient in containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, managing Git repositories and branching strategies.
• Experience in developing and deploying applications using Helm Charts is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture using RabbitMQ/Kafka is desirable.
• Prior experience in Banking domain is a plus.
• Ensure excellent quality and maintain high standards across all processes listed in the relevant process map.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams.

Skill and Competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar, required.
• Strong communication skills are desirable.
• Ability to work on innovation initiatives to build new prototypes, PoCs, and software products, adapting to new technologies and requirements.
• Excellent analytical capability and presentation skills.
