Kyndryl in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering – Development team. You will design, develop, and implement cutting‑edge software solutions, delivering value to customers quickly.

You will work with Java, SpringBoot, Node.js, TypeScript and AWS, building scalable microservices, containers, and CI/CD pipelines. The role emphasizes quality, documentation, and collaboration in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 5 to 12 years of experience as a software engineer on complex projects.
• Excellent coding skills in Java/SpringBoot/SQL/Node.js with debugging ability and knowledge of TypeScript, Jest, Lambda, APIGW, Terraform and Docker.
• Experience with software development methodologies and building scalable, robust software.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, REST-based web services.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, containers (Docker & Kubernetes), and messaging queues.
• Deep understanding of OOP and design patterns.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• 5 to 12 years of experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects
• Excellent coding skills and solid development experience (Java, SpringBoot, SQL, Node.js, (Must: typescript, nodejs, jest, lambda, apigw, terraform, docker); AWS - Understanding not an expert) with debugging and problem‑solving skills
• Software development methodologies, with demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software
• Experienced in relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, Rest based web services
• Knowledge of architecture design - Microservices architecture, containers (Docker & k8s), messaging queues
• Deep understanding of OOP and Design patterns

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Certification in one or more of the hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, and Google GCP) - otherwise, you can obtain certifications with Kyndryl
• Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices
