Job summary

Halliburton’s Landmark unit seeks a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (AI-Native) in Bengaluru to design, build, and support cloud-native SaaS apps using Angular, Node.js, and Python. You will work on AI-assisted development to improve productivity, quality, testing, and delivery across subsurface and digital operations tooling.

The role involves developing REST APIs, microservices, and scalable architectures, with experience in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/SASS.
• Strong experience with Node.js and/or Python.
• Experience building REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (AI-Native)

Job Duties

Landmark, a Halliburton company, builds the software and data platforms that help the global energy industry make better decisions. Our products span subsurface interpretation, well construction planning, reservoir simulation, and digital operations — tools used daily by engineers and scientists at the world’s largest energy companies. We are investing significantly in our engineering capability in Oslo, and these roles are part of building a permanent, locally-owned engineering organization to take long-term ownership of the platform.

Role Overview

Design, develop, and support scalable cloud-native SaaS applications using Angular, Node.js and/or Python, deployed on Azure and AWS. The ideal candidate embraces AI-assisted development to improve productivity, quality, testing, and delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS/SASS.

• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, or similar databases.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar AI tools.
• Experience validating AI-generated code for security, performance, and maintainability.
• Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, RAG, Semantic Kernel, or LLM APIs.
• Experience with vector databases and AI-enabled applications.
