Job summary

Indpro is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer on a Leadership Track in Bengaluru to own architecture and delivery of complex AI-augmented full-stack systems end to end. You will mentor engineers, drive technical decisions, and bridge engineering execution with leadership.

This role is designed to grow into Tech Lead or Engineering Manager. You’ll lead design reviews, coach engineers, and make trade-off calls, while still writing and owning code.

This role is designed for someone ready to grow into a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager position.

What you'll do

Shipping production systems is the primary focus — backed by technical decision-making, mentorship, and client-facing ownership that turn good engineers into engineering leaders.

• Architect, build, and scale full-stack applications spanning frontend, backend, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Own technical decision-making for assigned products and modules, balancing speed, quality, security, and cost.
• Lead by example in code quality, system design reviews, and engineering best practices across the team.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers; conduct code reviews and support their technical growth.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development workflows — AI coding agents, copilots, LLM-integrated features — to improve delivery speed and product capability.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to translate business goals into technical roadmaps.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for global clients on assigned engagements.
• Identify technical risks early, propose solutions, and drive incident response and root-cause analysis when issues arise.
• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and building engineering culture as the team scales.

What we're looking for

Must-have skills

We hire on evidence. You should be able to point to systems you've architected, engineers you've grown, and production incidents you've owned — not just tickets you've closed.

Influence matters more than title. We look for people who mentor engineers, lead design discussions, and shape technical direction without needing formal authority — plus the communication skills to work directly with clients and stakeholders.

• 1 4–8+ years of full-stack development. With strong foundations in data structures, OOP, and system design — and demonstrated technical leadership or mentorship experience.
• 3 Data, APIs, and services. Strong experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and microservices architecture.
• 4 Cloud and delivery infrastructure. Hands-on with AWS, Azure, or GCP, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• 5 AI in production workflows. Practical experience integrating AI/LLM APIs or AI-assisted development tools into real production work. Plus a growth mindset, high ownership, and comfort operating with minimal supervision.

Experience with agentic AI tools, prompt engineering, or building AI-powered product features.

Agile fluency

Familiarity with agile practices, version control workflows, and tools like Jira or Linear.

Interest in eventually owning P&L, hiring, or roadmap decisions as part of an engineering leadership role.
