Job summary

HyPlus Group is seeking a software professional in Pune, India to contribute across the full software development lifecycle. You will engage in requirements engineering, design, implementation, testing, and documentation, while collaborating with distributed international teams where English is the primary language of communication.

The role emphasizes Java 17+ development with TypeScript/JavaScript, Spring Boot, Hibernate, SQL, REST APIs, Maven, and Docker in Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java (17 or newer).
• Knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience with Cypress or similar UI testing frameworks.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Solid knowledge of Hibernate / JPA.
• Experience working with SQL databases, particularly MySQL.
• Ability to write SQL queries and work with database migration tools (e.g., Flyway).
• Experience with REST APIs and backend service development.
• Experience with Maven build system.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized development.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Proficiency with IntelliJ IDEA.
• Experience working with Git and standard development workflows.

You will be responsible for various activities throughout the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements engineering, software and system design, implementation, testing, and documentation. The specific scope of your tasks will depend on the project and your experience and will be discussed individually. You will collaborate in distributed, international teams where English is the primary language of communication.

Must-have:

• Strong experience with Java (17 or newer)

• Knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript

• Experience with Spring Boot
