Job summary

Codewinglet Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (MERN/Python) to own the development, improvement, and maintenance of scalable web applications across frontend, backend, API, and database layers.

You will work with React.js/Next.js, TypeScript, and cloud deployments, delivering features from conception to production in an AI-first environment. This role requires collaboration with QA, product, and engineering teams, and mentoring junior developers.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years hands-on full stack development experience.

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer from either a MERN or Python background who can own the building, improvement, and maintenance of scalable web applications across the Frontend, Backend, API, and Database layers.

This role suits someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, can own features independently from development to delivery, and wants to work closely with developers, QA, product, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack or Python-based stacks (Django / FastAPI / Flask with React.js).
• Own features and modules end-to-end, from requirement understanding and implementation to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Build responsive, reusable, high-performance UIs using React.js / Next.js with TypeScript.
• Develop secure, scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js/Express.js or Python frameworks.
• Design and optimize data models, queries, and indexes across MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services, third-party APIs, and AI/LLM capabilities.
• Containerize applications with Docker and maintain CI/CD pipelines on cloud platforms.
• Write unit and integration tests to keep code reliable.
• Debug and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.
• Conduct code reviews and give constructive technical feedback.
• Work in Agile/Scrum with QA, Project Managers, and other engineering teams to plan and deliver features.
• Contribute to technical discussions and implementation and design decisions.
• Guide junior developers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on Full Stack Web Development experience.
• Strong expertise in at least one stack:
  • MERN: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, OR
  • Python: Django / FastAPI / Flask with React.js
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript and Next.js (or another modern React framework).
• Good understanding of MongoDB and PostgreSQL, plus working experience with Redis.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Exposure to AI/LLM integrations or AI-powered applications.
• Working knowledge of Docker and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers.
• Good understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to own tasks independently and deliver on time.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and cross-functional teams.

• Experience building MVPs, POCs, or demos to support product launches or client pitches.
• Experience implementing product analytics or event tracking (GA4, Mixpanel, PostHog) to measure feature adoption.
