Position summary

S&P Global has recently announced the intent to separate its Mobility Segment into a standalone public company. This role focuses heavily on front-end UI (70% React, 30% .NET). The automotive team, AutomotiveMastermind, provides U.S. dealers with AI/behavior-prediction analytics software and marketing solutions that improve the vehicle purchase process and results. The cloud-based technology helps dealers predict buying behavior and automates micro-targeted customer communications, delivering higher sales and consistent retention. Our proprietary SaaS helps dealerships and sales teams better understand who is ready to buy, why, and which offers and incentives are most likely to close the sale. Its micro-marketing engine then delivers the right message at the right time, ensuring higher conversion rates and stronger ROI.

What You’ll Do

You will be part of the Mastermind engineering team. As part of this agile team, you will work in our cloud-native environment to develop and maintain applications using React.js for the frontend and .NET Core for the backend. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deliver high-quality software solutions. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. Integrate APIs and services to ensure seamless communication between frontend and backend systems. Work with cloud platforms (preferably GCP) for deployment, monitoring, and scaling applications. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure robust and reliable software. Contribute to architecture discussions and help improve system performance and security. Stay updated with emerging technologies and frameworks to continuously enhance product capabilities.

What We are looking for

• Bachelor’s or an advanced degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline required.
• 4 to 8 years of experience building enterprise-level applications.
• Strong experience building cutting-edge web interfaces using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Strong developer with experience building high-performance back-end services with C# and .NET Core.
• Good knowledge of microservices, design principles (SOLID) and design patterns.
• Implemented both relational and non-relational databases, such as Microsoft SQL Server.
• Test Driven Development (TDD), testing frameworks.
• Full project life-cycle experience.
• Ability to mentor junior team members.
• A self-starter with an enthusiasm for technology.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good to have some exposure to Agile software development methodologies.
• Working in multi-functional, multi-location teams.
• Comfortable using Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools, Git.
• Good to have knowledge of message brokers or pub-sub systems like RabbitMQ etc.
