Job summary

Align Knowledge Centre is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to drive backend services in Java/Spring Boot and deliver modern frontend using React or Angular. You will containerize with Docker, deploy via Kubernetes and implement robust security with JWT, OAuth 2.0 and mTLS.

You will work on secure digital credential and identity solutions at scale, involving cryptography, API development and database optimization, within an Agile team.

Qualifications

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, modern frontend development, Kubernetes/Docker, and application security.

You will be part of a high-performing engineering team building next-generation digital payment, identity, and biometric checkout solutions for a global payments organization.

This is an opportunity to work on products involving secure digital credentials, digital identity, biometric authentication, cryptography, and payment technologies at global scale.

What You Will Do

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Develop responsive web applications using React or Angular.
• Design and develop secure REST APIs and integrate frontend and backend services.
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage workloads on Kubernetes.
• Work with Helm charts, Kubernetes deployments, configurations and troubleshooting.
• Implement and work with application security mechanisms including JWT, OAuth 2.0, mTLS, PKI/X.509, hashing and digital signatures.
• Design and optimize database queries using Oracle/PostgreSQL.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable and production-ready code.
• Develop unit, integration, system and performance tests.
• Participate in architecture/design discussions and technical PoCs.
• Troubleshoot complex application and production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and engineering best-practice improvements.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers and global technology teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Good understanding of Helm charts and Kubernetes deployments.
• Practical understanding of JWT, OAuth 2.0, mTLS, PKI/X.509 and cryptographic concepts.
• Experience developing secure REST APIs.
• Strong SQL/database fundamentals with Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical problems.
