Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who thrives in a collaborative engineering environment and takes ownership of features from concept to deployment. You will design and build scalable backend services and contribute to high-performance frontend applications for enterprise clients.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain secure backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
• Build modern, responsive web applications using React (Tailwind CSS preferred)
• Architect and implement event-driven systems for real-time data processing and communication
• Implement OAuth 2.0 and other authentication and authorisation mechanisms for secure user access
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated, reliable deployments
• Design and optimise data storage across SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and scalability
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
• Integrate third-party APIs and services seamlessly into existing platforms
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams – product, design, and engineering – to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Champion engineering best practices including code reviews, testing, documentation, and system architecture

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Skills:

• 4+ years of professional full-stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript for backend development
• Experience with React and modern component libraries (Tailwind CSS preferred) for frontend development
• Hands‑on experience with OAuth 2.0 and secure authentication flows or similar
• Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database design and optimisation
• Practical experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
• Proficiency in asynchronous programming patterns and event‑driven architecture
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a strong focus on security and performance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with containerisation tools such as Docker
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and API gateways
• Experience with Serverless frameworks or FaaS patterns on AWS>li>
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Background in insurance, fintech, or financial services industry
