Ciklum India is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our India team on a full-time basis. You will design and build scalable enterprise applications using React/Next for UI and Python with FastAPI for backend, deploying on AWS or Azure.

You will collaborate with product leads, participate in design reviews, implement RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure security and performance across SQL and NoSQL stores.

Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise-class applications with modern JavaScript and Python.
• Expertise in React, Python, FastAPI, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• 8+ years of front-end and back-end development experience.
• 4+ years Python backend API development; 2+ years AWS/Azure.

Responsibilities

About The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. This position will design and build solutions using modern cloud-native technologies and frameworks within the context of our enterprise applications. We are looking for a candidate to provide expertise in React/Next UI development, Python backend services, FastAPI framework implementation, and cloud infrastructure deployment on AWS or Azure. This individual will have broad experience in developing scalable front-end and back-end enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work with product technical leads to design new products or enhancements using React, Python, and cloud-based architectures
• Take part in system development including analysis, coding, and testing of full-stack applications
• Work with the business community to turn business requirements into cost-effective and elegant cloud-native solutions
• Perform design reviews with senior technical staff
• Perform peer code reviews
• Analyze and optimize application performance as needed, leveraging cloud services and best practices
• Act as the person many turn to resolve tough technical problems
• Take part in mentoring less senior team members
• Design and develop RESTful APIs using FastAPI with Python
• Build responsive, modern user interfaces using React and related ecosystem tools
• Architect and deploy scalable solutions on AWS or Azure cloud platforms
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code practices
• Ensure application security, monitoring, and logging standards are met
• Work with databases (SQL and NoSQL) to support application requirements

Requirements

• Experience & Education
• Full Stack Developer with relevant experience in enterprise-class application development using modern JavaScript frameworks and Python
• Expertise in React, Python, FastAPI, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• 8+ years of front-end and back-end application development
• 4+ years of deep technical experience with Python and backend API development
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud services
• Experience producing technical design documentation
• Must have college degree or equivalent experience
• Technical Skills/Competencies
• Frontend:
• React/ Next (required),HTML 5/CSS 3,JavaScript/TypeScript, JSON/RESTful APIs, Modern UI/UX frameworks and component libraries, State management (Redux, Context API, or similar)
• Backend:
• Python (required), FastAPI (required), RESTful API design and development, Microservices architecture, WebSockets and async programming
• Cloud/DevOps:
• AWS (preferred), Containerization (Docker), Kubernetes (preferred), CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
• Data & Storage:
• SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar), Database design and optimization, ORMs (SQLAlchemy, Django ORM, or similar)
• Additional Skills:
• Git/GitHub, API testing tools (Postman, Swagger), Agile/Scrum methodologies, Unit testing and integration testing frameworks
