Ciklum is looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our team full‑time in India.

About The Role

As a Senior Python Engineer, become a part of a cross‑functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Engineer with strong experience in building production‑grade agentic AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in backend development using Python and FastAPI, experience working with AWS Bedrock and Agent Core, and a solid understanding of modern AI architectures including MCP (Model Context Protocol). You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable AI‑driven applications, collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and data engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end‑to‑end production‑grade agentic AI solutions
• Build scalable and high‑performance backend systems using Python and FastAPI
• Integrate and operationalize AI models using AWS Bedrock and Agent Core
• Implement and manage MCP (Model Context Protocol) for context‑aware AI workflows
• Collaborate with frontend teams to integrate APIs with React‑based applications
• Design and optimize database schemas using PostgreSQL or other RDBMS systems
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security in production environments
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior engineers
• Work closely with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and monitoring
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability issues

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Python
• Hands‑on experience with FastAPI or similar modern Python frameworks
• Proven experience in building AI/ML‑powered or agent‑based systems
• Strong understanding of AWS Bedrock, Agent Core, or similar AI platforms
• Experience implementing MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar context frameworks
• Solid experience with REST API design and microservices architecture
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL or other relational databases (RDBMS)
• Experience with frontend integration using React
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud‑native architectures

Desirable

• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and orchestration frameworks
• Exposure to vector databases and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG)
• Knowledge of event‑driven architectures and asynchronous processing
• Experience in observability tools and monitoring AI systems
• Prior experience working in high‑scale production environments
