Senior Full Stack Engineer

Element5 is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with 7-10 years of expertise to join our engineering team working on Neos, our AI-powered solution transforming healthcare prior authorization processes. Core Responsibilities:

• You will design and implement frontend components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React to create intuitive interfaces for healthcare professionals. This includes developing responsive designs that effectively visualize complex data while maintaining clean, maintainable code.
• You will architect and develop robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript to process data with high performance and reliability.
• You will implement and optimize database schemas across SQL databases and MongoDB, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and management for our healthcare automation platform.
• You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and technical design to implementation, testing, and deployment. This includes contributing to architectural decisions that shape the platform's evolution.
• You will conduct code reviews and participate in technical discussions to maintain high code quality standards throughout the development process. This includes mentoring junior developers and sharing best practices with the team.

Required Qualifications:

• You must possess 7-10 years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of delivering complex web applications.
• You must have extensive experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with deep expertise in React for building sophisticated user interfaces.
• You need strong proficiency in Node.js backend development with at least 5 years of experience building production-grade server applications. This includes REST API design, middleware implementation, and server-side performance tuning.
• You should have comprehensive knowledge of SQL databases and MongoDB with experience designing schemas for applications handling sensitive data. This includes query optimization, indexing strategies, and data migration techniques.
• You should demonstrate advanced TypeScript skills for maintaining type-safe code across large-scale applications.
• You need experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies for web applications. This includes understanding containerization, environment configuration, and automated testing integration.

Good to have:

• Experience with message brokers like Kafka and RabbitMQ for building resilient event-driven systems.
