Job summary

Ciklum in Pune, India is seeking an experienced software engineer to design and implement complex web applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and React. You will drive best practices, participate in CI/CD initiatives, and help raise engineering standards across the team.

The role involves mentoring mid/senior engineers, contributing to architecture decisions (monolith, microservices, serverless), deploying with Docker and AWS, and leveraging Kafka for data streams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing scalable web applications using monolith, microservices or serverless patterns.
• Strong background in Node.js with high-performance application building.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React for modern front-end & back-end features.
• Understanding testing approaches and maintaining code quality metrics.
• Hands-on with Docker and cloud deployment on AWS; Kafka knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create CI/CD pipeline by template and/or assist DevOps team in creating more complex pipelines
