Job summary

Luxoft India is seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to build and maintain scalable microservices using Java, Spring, and modern web technologies. You will participate in design reviews, ensure code quality, and tackle complex business problems in a finance domain.

You'll work on FX settlement systems, contribute to architecture decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Strong communication and debugging skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in Software Development.
• Strong, in-depth knowledge of core and advanced Java concepts.
• Hands-on with Spring, Spring Boot, Camel, JUnit, Hibernate to build microservices.
• Experience with Shell scripting, Unix, PL/SQL, and Oracle/PostgreSQL databases.
• Knowledge of cloud components and distributed systems.
• Strong OOAD and domain knowledge of Investment Banking Trade Settlement and Payments.
• Good communication and presentation skills; experienced with Agile and metrics like velocity and burndown.
• Familiar with DevOps tools—GitLab, TeamCity, Nexus, Maven/Gradle.
