As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Be a key member within one of the JAVA, Integration/API scrum teams.
• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Taking business and functional requirements and translating them into technical and functional designs for Java and API based projects.
• Producing and maintaining application code along with accompanying automated test suites.
• Unit and integration testing of code, and providing support to testing cycles ensuring that defects are resolved. All project deliverables must be produced in accordance with governance practices and utilizing QA procedures.
• Contribute towards central JAVA, API forums, Best Practice, etc.
• Support and mentor junior colleagues.
• Take part in all aspects of an iterative Agile development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with the application support teams to ensure effective delivery of projects into the production environment.

Purpose of the Role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry‑aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross‑functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
