Job summary

Epam Systems is seeking a seasoned Java developer for Hyderabad with 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience. You will design and build Java 17 web apps using Spring Framework and Hibernate, write efficient SQL for Oracle/PostgreSQL, and craft rich React UIs with npm tooling. Maven-based bundling and cloud/containers exposure are expected in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Strong communication and proactive approach are essential to drive results in this role based in India, Hyderabad.

Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of experience in software development using Java and related frameworks.
• Broad understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies is required.
• Experience in developing Java 17 based web applications using Spring Framework (6.x) or Springboot 3.x, and Hibernate (6.x) is must.
• Experience in writing efficient SQL queries against either Oracle or PostgreSQL database is must.
• Experience in developing rich web interfaces using React is must, package management using npm, and compilation/building/bundling using Node is desirable.
• Experience in bundling Java based applications/modules using Maven is must.
• Experience with software development using Copilot/Claude/Codex is desirable.
• Exposure to PCF / Azure / AWS is desirable.
• Experience in containerization using Kubernetes is desirable.
