Smart Working in Gurugram, India, is seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to develop secure admin portals and dashboards using React, TypeScript and Next.js. You will work on native Next.js apps with App Router, server components, middleware and API routes, and contribute to RBAC and authentication mechanisms.

You will also build automated frontend tests with Vitest, RTL and Playwright, manage CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and deploy via Docker and AWS. collaborative, ownership-driven environment.

Formación

• Strong experience developing frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Deep hands-on Next.js experience including App Router and server components.
• Experience building and maintaining admin portals and dashboards.
• Hands-on experience with frontend automated testing using Vitest, React Testing Library and Playwright.
• Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitHub Actions; GitLab/Jenkins acceptable.
• Practical experience using Docker and AWS for deployment.
• Ability to independently deploy frontend changes and troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Comfort working across frontend and backend integrations via APIs and services.
• Strong problem-solving and independent work in a small engineering team.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience developing frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Deep hands-on experience with native Next.js, including App Router, server components, server-side authentication, API routes and middleware.
• Professional experience building and maintaining admin portals and dashboards.
• Hands-on experience implementing frontend automated testing using Vitest, React Testing Library and Playwright.
• Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitHub Actions. Strong transferable experience with GitLab CI or Jenkins will also be considered.
• Practical professional experience using Docker and AWS for application deployment.
• Ability to independently deploy frontend changes to production and troubleshoot deployment-related issues.
• Comfortable working across frontend and backend integrations, including APIs and services.
• Strong problem-solving skills, technical ownership and the ability to work independently within a small engineering team.

Nice to Have

• Experience implementing or improving role-based access control (RBAC).
• Experience delivering measurable frontend performance improvements.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG), including accessible colour schemes, tooltips and multilingual support.
• Experience implementing server-side authentication patterns beyond AWS Amplify or .NET.
• Broader full-stack engineering experience.
• Experience contributing to product improvements and platform maturity.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools while independently reviewing and validating generated code.
