Job summary

Smart Working in Bengaluru, India seeks a seasoned frontend engineer to build secure admin portals using React, TypeScript and Next.js. You will own server-side auth, RBAC, and API integration while maintaining robust tests and scalable deployments.

You will implement CI/CD with GitHub Actions, Docker, and AWS, and contribute to performance, reliability, and platform maturity in a small engineering team.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience developing frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Deep hands-on experience with native Next.js, including App Router, server components, server-side authentication, API routes and middleware.
• Professional experience building and maintaining admin portals and dashboards.
• Hands-on experience implementing frontend automated testing using Vitest, React Testing Library and Playwright.
• Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, ideally using GitHub Actions. Strong transferable experience with GitLab CI or Jenkins will also be considered.
• Practical professional experience using Docker and AWS for application deployment.
