THE GIG

As a Front-end Developer, you will:

• Develop and implement user interfaces for complex multi-channel customer experience projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design and functionality align with business needs.
• Support project timelines by identifying and mitigating risks and resolving development-related bottlenecks.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for performance optimization and efficiency.
• Utilize data-driven insights to inform design decisions and demonstrate the impact of front-end development.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, agility, and innovation.

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

Must-Have Experience:

• 4+ years of proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Minimum 1 year/s experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as Next.js and Storybook.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Experience with CSS preprocessors like Sass or LESS
• Knowledge of build tools and task runners such as Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt
• Experience in SEO, accessibility with analysing and mapping customer journeys, and familiarity with digital marketing tools like GA4.

• Experience in the retail industry, particularly within a global context.
• Proven track record of collaborating cross-functional technology teams in front-end development or customer experience projects.
• Experience in headless CMS - ContentStack, Contentful, Amplience.
