Job summary

Kots in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on Senior Front-End Developer who lives and breathes Angular to build fast, polished, maintainable user interfaces. You will own the client side of our applications—from component architecture and state to performance and testing—and collaborate closely with our Python backend and design teams.

This builder's role demands clean, reactive TypeScript, expertise in change detection and performance, and shipping complex UIs that perform in production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on frontend development experience.
• Real production experience with Angular, including components, RxJS, forms, routing, and state management.
• Ability to reason about and fix change-detection and performance issues.
• Front-end testing with Jasmine/Karma or Jest.
• Comfort consuming REST APIs and working with Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Angular applications — components, state, routing, and data flow.
• Write clean, reactive code using RxJS and modern Angular patterns (standalone components, Signals).
• Own front‑end performance: change detection, bundle size, and rendering.
• Build complex, data‑heavy UIs and reactive forms with robust validation.
• Integrate and consume REST APIs, handling loading, error, and edge states cleanly.
• Write meaningful front‑end unit tests for the components you ship.
• Uphold UI/UX consistency and mentor less experienced developers.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Front‑End Developer who lives and breathes Angular and builds fast,

polished, maintainable user interfaces. You will own the client side of our applications — from component

architecture and state to performance and testing — and work closely with our backend (Python) and design teams.

This is a builder’s role. You should be comfortable writing clean, reactive TypeScript, reasoning about change detection and performance, and shipping complex UIs that hold up in production.

This is a senior front‑end role — we expect real depth in Angular, not surface familiarity.

• 5+ years of relevant, hands‑on front‑end development experience.
• Angular — real production experience with components, RxJS, forms, routing, and state management (not React only).
• Ability to reason about and fix change‑detection and performance issues.
• Front‑end testing (Jasmine/Karma or Jest).
• Comfort consuming REST APIs and working with Git.

This Role Is Not a Fit If…

• Your framework experience is React only, with no Angular.
• You write only basic HTML/CSS with no real framework or TypeScript depth.
• You cannot reason about performance or change detection.
• You have no experience writing front‑end tests.

Nice to Have

• Angular Signals and modern reactive patterns.
• State management with NgRx or similar.
• A strong eye for design and accessibility (a11y).
• Some familiarity with the backend (Python / REST / AWS).
