The successful candidate will have 10+ years in FP&A, management reporting and financial control, with proven ability to steer multi-entity reporting and coach a small India-based team.

Job description

Role Description

The Head of Reporting will lead the Group management reporting agenda within the FP&A Finance team, ensuring senior leaders have a clear, accurate and timely view of financial performance. The role is responsible for delivering Group management reporting and flash results, supporting consistent regional reporting, leading flash review meetings with functions and regional teams, and overseeing Group pro forma calculations for actuals and forecasts. The role will partner closely with Group Financial Control, regional finance teams, functional finance leaders and Finance Systems to strengthen reporting quality, data integrity and insight. This is a senior finance leadership role suited to a qualified finance professional with more than 10 years’ experience, including significant exposure to FP&A, management reporting, financial control, performance analysis and team leadership in a complex, international organisation.

Specific Role Responsibilities
Group Management Reporting and Flash Results

Lead the end-to-end delivery of Group management reporting, ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, consistent and focused on the key drivers of performance.

Own the preparation and delivery of flash results, providing an early and reliable view of monthly financial performance.

Develop clear analysis of actual performance against budget, forecast and prior periods, highlighting material variances, risks, opportunities and emerging trends.

Maintain a robust reporting timetable, governance framework and quality-assurance process across the monthly reporting cycle.

Regional Reporting and Performance Insight

Support regional finance teams in delivering high-quality management reporting that is aligned with Group definitions, timelines and performance measures.

Drive consistency in reporting across regions and functions while recognising relevant local business drivers and requirements.

Translate complex financial results into concise, decision-useful commentary and insights for senior management, Executive and Board-level audiences.

Continuously improve the relevance, clarity and efficiency of management information, focusing reporting on the measures that best explain business performance.

Flash Meetings and Stakeholder Management

Plan, coordinate and lead monthly flash meetings with functional and regional teams, ensuring clear understanding of performance and the actions required.

Provide constructive challenge on reported results, supporting commentary, forecast movements and the underlying operational drivers.

Build strong relationships with regional Finance, functional Finance, Finance Business Partners and senior leadership to improve accountability and reporting quality.

Present Group performance clearly and confidently, adapting the level of detail to the needs of different senior stakeholders.

Pro Forma Reporting, Controls, Systems and Team Leadership

Own and run Group pro forma calculations for actuals and forecasts, maintaining clear methodologies, assumptions, controls and audit trails.

Work closely with Group Financial Control throughout month-end to align reported results, resolve issues and ensure management reporting is reconciled to the underlying financial records.

Partner with Finance Systems and data teams to strengthen data integrity, resolve recurring data issues and improve the reliability and automation of reporting processes.

Lead, coach and develop a team of three based in India, setting clear priorities, maintaining effective controls and building strong reporting and analytical capability.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Qualified accountant or finance professional, ideally ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.

Financial Services or Technology experience is preferable.

10+ years’ experience in Finance, including substantial experience in FP&A, management reporting, financial control or performance analysis.

Proven experience delivering Group management reporting and flash results in a complex, multi-entity or international organisation.

Strong understanding of month-end close, management reporting controls, reconciliations and the relationship between statutory and management reporting.

Experience producing pro forma or adjusted financial information for actuals and forecasts, supported by clear methodologies and controls.

Advanced Excel and analytical capability, with experience using ERP, EPM, consolidation, reporting or BI tools and working with Finance Systems teams.

Experience managing and developing geographically dispersed or offshore finance teams.

Experience required Excellent command of management reporting, with the ability to connect financial outcomes to operational and commercial drivers.

Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy, control and data integrity.

Clear and confident communicator who can distil complex results into concise messages for senior audiences.

Credible and collaborative stakeholder manager, able to challenge constructively and drive timely resolution of reporting issues.

Strong leadership capability, with a focus on developing talent, setting clear standards and building an effective cross-border team.

Outcome-focused, organised and resilient, with the ability to manage competing deadlines during month-end and forecast cycles.
