Job summary

NIQ in Pune is seeking a Finance/Accounting professional to support cost tracking, budgeting and monthly reporting. You will analyze actuals vs plan, forecast and prior year, and prepare accruals, prepayments, and CAPEX forecasts using OneStream/SAC.

You should have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, strong Excel skills, and experience with SAP/Ariba/OneStream, with fluency in English and excellent attention to detail. Flexible environment and learning resources are part of the benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or a qualified accountant with deep knowledge of USGAAP, accruals and capitalization rules.
• Advanced analytical and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiar with SAP/Ariba/OneStream.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision; very organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current and past trends with KPIs including all expense areas.
• Track actuals versus plan/forecast/prior year with clarity.
• Monitor performance indicators and analyze variance causes.
• Review and approve Purchase Requisitions, POs, Invoices.
• Prepare monthly accruals/reclass entries and prepayments/amortization entries.
• Support CAPEX forecast and in-depth financial analysis for management.
• Assist in annual budget/3YP and forecast loading in SAC/OneStream.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis.

• Analyzing current and past trends with key performance indicators including all areas of expenses.
• Provides clear and accurate tracking of actuals Versus Plan/ Forecast / Prior Year.
• Monitoring performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
• Review and approve Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Invoices.
• Prepare monthly Accruals/Reclass entries when and where is needed.
• Prepare monthly Prepayments / amortization entries.
• Provides clear and accurate tracking of Actuals and support with CAPEX forecast.
• Productivity / OTI / Initiatives tracker maintenance.
• Supporting in the annual Budget / 3YP and Forecast process. Loading in the OP tool (SAC/OneStream)
• Monthly and Quarterly Financial reporting. Customized reports for functions showing Periodic and YTD results.
• Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis.
• Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth financial analysis required. Analyze and provide variance analysis and drivers
• Supporting in the preparation of presentations to TechOps Leadership team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance / qualified accountant; Deep knowledge of accounting (USGAAP, Accruals/matching concept, capitalization rules)
• Advanced analytical and communication skills.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency and familiar with SAP/Ariba/OneStream.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision.
• Very organized and detail oriented with an ability to be flexible and independent.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to think creatively and be self-motivated.
• Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines.
