Job summary

Deltatechhub in Bengaluru seeks an aircraft engineering professional to provide support to internal teams and external suppliers. The role involves a variety of responsibilities, including reviewing Airworthiness Regulations and implementing changes to enhance aircraft reliability.

The ideal candidate will engage with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure compliance with FAA regulations while also supporting engineering projects. This position reports to the Fleet Engineering Manager within the Bangalore Office.

Responsibilities

• Providing aircraft engineering support to internal customers and suppliers.
• Reviewing and implementing Airworthiness Regulations and service bulletins.
• Recommending changes to improve aircraft reliability.
• Supporting maintenance customers in Engineering projects.
• Maintaining compliance with FAA regulations and technical policies.
• Engaging with stakeholders across maintenance and support groups.
• Developing internal engineering solutions.
• Identifying Process and Product Improvement Initiatives.

Job description

The tasks associated with this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Providing aircraft engineering support to a variety of internal customers and outside suppliers to support Engineering solutions for long term safety/reliability/cost effectiveness
• Reviewing, recommending, and implementing Airworthiness Regulations or manufacturers' service bulletins and other correspondence to affected fleets
• Reviewing data and recommending and implementing changes as required to improve aircraft reliability
• Supporting shop, hangar and line maintenance customers in accomplishing Engineering projects
• Maintain compliance with applicable FAA regulations and Delta’s Technical Operations Policy and Procedures (TOPP) by authoring, checking, and approving Engineering documents.
• Constant stakeholder engagement which requires interfacing with maintenance, planning, materials, and other support groups to gain details necessary to develop/complete quality project
• Supports development of internal engineering solutions; remove OEM dependence wherever possible
• Identifies and supports Process and Product Improvement Initiatives

This position reports to the Fleet Engineering Manager within the Bangalore Office.
