Job summary

IndiGo is seeking Senior First Officers for its Airbus A320 fleet on a non-type-rated basis. You will operate scheduled services across India, working within DGCA and IndiGo SOPs to uphold safety, teamwork and operational excellence.

Applicants must hold a DGCA ATPL, FRTO, RTR and current Class 1 Medical, plus a Multi-Engine endorsement with multi-engine jet time on scheduled operations. This is a Pan-India role demanding flexibility and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• DGCA ATPL, FRTO, RTR and current Class 1 Medical are mandatory.
• Multi-Engine endorsement required, with detailed hours of actual vs simulator.
• Age limit: 52 years maximum at time of application.
• Accident- and incident-free record at the time of application.

The Opportunity

Role Snapshot

• Operations: Scheduled passenger services across multiple bases Pan-India
• Fleet: Airbus A320 family
• Standards: Adherence to DGCA regulations and IndiGo SOPs
• Eligibility: Non-type-rated applications welcomed (subject to the qualifications below)

Minimum Qualifications

• Indian national
• Maximum age: 52 years at the time of application
• Valid DGCA-issued ATPL, FRTO, RTR, and current Class 1 Medical
• Valid Multi-Engine endorsement with a minimum of 25 hours, including at least 15 hours on actual aircraft and no more than 10 hours in a simulator
• Accident-and incident-free record at the time of application

Flight Time Requirements

• Total Time: Minimum 1,500 hours
• Multi-Engine Jet Time: Minimum 500 hours on multi-engine jet aircraft operated by a scheduled operator with MTOW > 5,700 kg

All minima must be met at the time of application.

Documentation Checklist
