Job summary

AFRY is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to join our team and contribute to landmark projects across hospitals, data centers, industrial facilities, airports, commercial buildings, and public infrastructure. You will shape fire protection solutions that meet high technical and regulatory standards.

The role spans feasibility studies through detailed design, commissioning support, and client advisory services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sprinkler and fire protection design.
• Strong understanding of international fire protection standards (NFPA, FM Global, EN, LPCB or equivalent).
• Experience with hydraulic calculations and BIM environments; knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and/or MagiCAD is highly desirable.
• Good communication skills in English; Nordic project experience is a plus.

About The Role

As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will be involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and concept development to detailed design, commissioning support, and client advisory services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Fire sprinkler system design and engineering
• Hydraulic calculations and system sizing
• Development of technical specifications and engineering documentation
