Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) in Bengaluru seeks a Senior Associate to manage vendor relationships delivering IT services. You will lead MSP budgets, forecast spend, and improve cost visibility to support financial planning.

You will validate invoices, track volumes, and craft MIS reports to inform leadership decisions. The role requires collaboration across VM teams and cross-functional projects to drive efficiency and cost savings.

  • Handle PO lifecycle for technology vendors and ensure timely processing.
  • Lead monthly volume and invoice tracking with clear metrics.
  • Provide data-driven insights and reporting on technology spend to leadership.
  • Collaborate with Vendor Management to review commercials and contract amendments.
  • Develop summarized service reports from supplier data and support strategic discussions.
  • Train and guide new team members; participate in cross-functional VM projects.

Job description

Responsibilities

The potential employee undertakes administrative tasks associated with the management of vendors delivering IT & related service to LSEG. The elected employee will work with Director, Cost Management & other peers in - Deliver MSP budgets and spend forecasts, improving cost visibility and financial planning. Raise, amend and receipting of purchase orders for Tech service providers Handle the full purchase order lifecycle for technology vendors, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Validated invoices against contracts and work orders, proactively resolving discrepancies and reducing billing errors. Lead monthly volume & invoice tracking by crafting visually appealing metrics Analyze transactional reports to identify missing costs and improve financial completeness. Track actuals vs forecasts to enable accurate run rate reporting & provide reporting on financial performance of the contracted services Standardize and automate processes for growing efficiency and enabling insights. Maintain all required / vendor specific trackers & reporting as scheduled and support any ad-hoc reporting needs Work with other department colleagues to deliver clear, data-driven insights on technology spend and gain efficiency. Collaborated with Vendor Management teams to review commercials and finalize contract amendments. Identify & chip in with any cost avoidance / cost saving opportunities Compose data visualizations and ad hoc reports to support leadership and strategic discussions. Develop summarized service reports from information provided by suppliers Proficient in formulating and interpreting Financial, MIS reports & other statements with a view to inform management of the business operations and potential decision making Be an outstanding teammate by backing other members’ activities of the team when necessary Deliver ad-hoc analysis, presentations, and data visualizations using contemporary tools to support management requirements Actively participate in any cross functional projects within & outside the VM function as needed Validated strong expertise in reporting, supporting leadership with actionable insights for decision-making. Provide financial insights and reporting as a core member of the function Train & guide any new members in the team for their settling in. Run / acquire AP transactions / cost reports to track all actual spend against the vendors & study the transactions for any ineligible transactions or anomalies.
