Job summary

FinStrat Management is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with a CFA designation to guide data-driven investment analysis and strategic planning. You will develop complex financial models, perform due diligence, and partner with operations, sales, and product teams to support budgeting and forecasting.

The role requires CFA Charterholder status, a finance-related degree (MBA preferred), and 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or corporate finance.

Qualifications

• CFA Charterholder is a mandatory requirement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting; MBA/Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and decisions.
• Develop, maintain, and improve complex financial models and forecasting tools.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and present findings to senior management.
• Analyze trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Perform due diligence on private and public assets including VC funds and real estate.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and support capital allocation decisions.
• Prepare due diligence reports for internal and external clients.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting.
• Assist in scenario and sensitivity analysis for key drivers.
• Monitor economic, industry and market trends and their impact on plans.
• Support M&A activities including due diligence, valuation modeling, and integration planning.

The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Financial Analyst with a CFA designation to join our team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in investment analysis, financial modeling, and strategic planning. You will be instrumental in guiding data-driven decisions that support our client's growth and financial health.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business decisions
• Develop, maintain, and improve complex financial models and forecasting tools
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and present key findings to senior management
• Analyze trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
• Perform research and financial / investment due diligence on private and public assets, including early-stage companies, VC funds, and real estate.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and support capital allocation decisions
• Prepare financial / investment due diligence reports for internal and external clients
• Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, sales, product) to support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assist in scenario and sensitivity analysis for key business drivers
• Monitor economic, industry, and market trends and assess their impact on the company's financial plans
• Support M& A activities, including due diligence, valuation modeling, and integration planning

Job Requirements

• Professional Knowledge CFA Charterholder (required)
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or Master's degree preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or investment banking
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency with financial planning software and ERP systems
• Investment due diligence experience with both public and private companies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills
