Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with demand forecast and capacity.
  • Coordinate with co‑packers for capacity planning, scheduling, and execution tracking; monitor OTIF, yield, and quality.
  • Generate MIS reports and dashboards (plan adherence, OEE, IRM, inventory, losses).
  • Analyze deviations and conduct RCA for plan misses, downtime, and supply constraints; align with RM/PM availability.
  • Maintain accuracy of planning data and ERP master data (BOM, routing, line capacity).
  • Assist with standards changes, troubleshooting, and changes to production lines and routing.

Job Title

Senior Executive Technical

Role Overview

Responsible for end‑to‑end production planning and scheduling for in‑house manufacturing and co‑packing partners, ensuring demand fulfilment through optimal capacity utilization, strong cross‑functional coordination, and robust MIS reporting while driving plan adherence, inventory health, and service performance.

Accountabilities

Top 5 Core Responsibilities / Outcomes Expected

  • Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules aligned with demand forecast and capacity.
  • Ensure production plan adherence, optimize changeovers, and improve scheduling efficiency. Coordinate with co‑packers for capacity planning, scheduling, and execution tracking. Monitor co‑packer performance (OTIF, yield, quality) and drive issue resolution. Collaborate with Demand Planning, Sales, Procurement, QA, and Logistics teams for demand–supply alignment.
  • Generate MIS reports and dashboards (plan adherence, OEE, IRM, inventory, losses) for performance tracking.
  • Analyse deviations and conduct RCA for plan misses, downtime, and supply constraints. Align production plans with RM/PM availability and maintain optimum inventory levels. Support S&OP / IBP processes and provide feasibility inputs for new products and promotions.
  • Maintain accuracy of planning data and ERP master data (BOM, routing, line capacity).
  • Assist with analyzing of standards change, processing standards changes, troubleshooting issues with collective orders, routings, or BOMs, adding new lines for changes to production, packaging flow thru errors, etc.
Other Applicable Scope Defining Dimensions
  • Strong interaction with internal stakeholders (Manufacturing, QA, Procurement, Logistics, Finance). External coordination with co‑packers and vendors. Direct impact on service levels, inventory cost, and production efficiency.
  • Moderate influence on planning decisions and execution priorities.
Qualification
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Production planning & scheduling expertise. Strong analytical and MIS capabilities (Excel, Power BI preferred). ERP/planning tools knowledge (SAP PP/APO/IBP Planet Together, Kinaxis or equivalent).
  • Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Stakeholder management and communication. High attention to data accuracy and discipline.
Experience & Education

Experience: 5–8 years with exposure to co‑packers / 3P manufacturing.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Operations, MBA / PGDM Preferred.

Industry: FMCG / Food & Beverage.
