Role purpose

The Senior Executive – Supply Chain Management is to coordinate demand planning with Sales, drive purchase order placement, and ensure seamless supply chain execution from PO to customer delivery.

Responsibilities

• Demand Coordination: Liaise with the Sales team to gather and validate demand forecasts. Arrive at accurate Purchase Order (PO) quantities based on sales inputs and inventory levels.
• Procurement Execution: Place Purchase Orders with suppliers based on approved demand. Coordinate with suppliers for earliest possible dispatch and shipment readiness.
• Logistics & Customs Coordination: Handover shipment details to the Exim team for customs clearance. Track shipment arrival and ensure timely documentation and compliance.
• Sales Enablement: Post-arrival, coordinate with Sales for earliest possible sales execution. Ensure inventory availability aligns with sales plans.
• MIS & Forecasting: Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Sales Forecast, Inventory Forecast, and MIS reporting related to demand and supply.
• Qualifications: 5 to 10 years in SCM operations, Bachelor's degree in science, preferably in Chemical Engineering or equivalent. Strong communication and coordination abilities.
