Job summary

Sudit K. Parekh & Co. LLP in Mumbai is seeking a Senior Executive for statutory audit engagements. The role involves independent execution, team handling, and client liaison across locations. Requires CA with 2-3 years of PQE and strong knowledge of Indian GAAP and IFRS where applicable.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, apply firm methodologies, and travel as needed to serve diverse clients across sectors.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant with 2-3 years’ post qualification experience.
• Expert knowledge of business processes, accounting, reporting and audit methodology.
• Expert knowledge of accounting standards under Indian GAAP and SA’s.
• Awareness of IFRS and other GAAPs as required for group reporting.

Responsibilities

• Execute statutory audit assignments independently.
• Handle and lead a team.
• Provide training and conduct research.
• Serve as a single point of contact for the client (SPOC).
• Maintain good technical knowledge for execution of assignments.
• Learn and apply firm methodology.
• Communicate with clients and overseas counterparts as required.
• Coordinate with cross-service teams (IDT, Tax, C Law, TP, etc.).
• Own client relationships including CSS, billing, and recovery.
• Possess working knowledge of internal audits.
• Be flexible for non-standard assurance engagements.
• Travel across locations.
