Job summary

Wipro in Bengaluru is seeking a qualified accounting professional to handle direct COGS accounting and monthly reporting. The role requires hands-on RTR experience, strong inventory costing and valuation skills, and IFRS/US GAAP knowledge for consolidation and reconciliation.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant experience, CA/CMA credentials preferred, and the ability to manage variances (PPV, freight) and participate in physical inventory counts. Immediate joining is preferred.

Qualifications

• Direct COGS accounting with monthly reporting.
• RTR hands-on experience required.
• Inventory valuation and costing processes.
• Manage inventory costing, overhead absorption, and variances (PPV, freight).
• Support physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Experience in IFRS and US GAAP, consolidation, and inventory management.
• IFRS and US GAAP experience mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct COGS accounting and ensure monthly reporting accuracy.
• Operate RTR processes end-to-end.
• Execute inventory valuation and costing.
• Manage variances including PPV and freight.
• Support physical counts and cycle counts.
• Ensure IFRS/US GAAP compliance and inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain standard costing and inventory provisions.

• Perform direct COGS accounting and ensure accurate monthly reporting.
• RTR hands on experience
• Execute inventory valuation and costing processes.
• Manage inventory costing, overhead absorption, and material cost variances, including:
  • Purchase Price Variance (PPV)
  • Freight variance
• Support physical inventory counts and cycle count coordination.
• Experience in IFRS US GAAP Consolidation SAP, inventory reconciliation, inventory management, standard costing, inventory provision, inventory valuation.
• IFRS & USGAAP experience mandatory
