Job summary

Responsibilities include operating HPLC, GC, LCMS, amino acid analyser, analytical balances, pH meters, and performing wet analysis, while ensuring accurate documentation and strict adherence to cGMP, SOPs and safety

Job Description

Responsible for conducting quality control analysis of finished products, in-process, intermediate, miscellaneous, and stability samples in accordance with pharmacopoeial, in-house, and customer specifications. The role involves operating analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC, LCMS , analytical balances, precision balances, and pH meters, along with performing wet analysis. Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with cGMP, SOPs, quality, and safety requirements. Support the reporting authority in their absence and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by seniors.

• Perform analysis of finished products, in-process, intermediate, miscellaneous, and stability samples as per pharmacopoeial, in-house, and customer specifications.
• Operate HPLC, GC, LCMS, Amino acid analyser, analytical/precision balances, pH meters, and other QC laboratory instruments as per approved SOPs.
• Conduct wet analysis and routine chemical testing of finished product and other QC samples using approved analytical methods.
• Ensure accurate recording, review, and maintenance of analytical data, worksheets, logbooks, and other QC documentation in compliance with cGMP requirements.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, pharmacopoeial standards, specifications, and applicable quality requirements during all testing activities.
• Report any abnormal observations, deviations, or out-of-specification results to the concerned reporting authority.
• Follow all applicable laboratory safety procedures and cGMP practices during analytical activities.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness of the QC laboratory and ensure appropriate handling of laboratory materials and equipment.
• Take responsibility for reporting and coordination activities in the absence of the reporting authority, as assigned.
• Support the QC team in achieving timely completion of testing and reporting activities.
• Perform other QC-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by seniors.
