Job summary

Piramal Critical Care is seeking a Senior Executive - Production (API) to manage shift activities, operate the DCS, and ensure GMP-compliant manufacturing. The role includes supervising batch charging, maintaining production records, and coordinating with QA/QC, stores, and E&M to ensure smooth operations.

Training staff and maintaining safety standards are essential. The position requires a strong GMP background, the ability to work as shift-in-charge, and hands-on experience with DCS and SAP

Qualifications

Chemical engineering background required or equivalent qualifications.
Experience operating Distillation Columns and DCS in a GMP environment.
Knowledge of safety and GMP procedures and training.
Familiarity with batch processing and raw material handling.

Responsibilities

Operate DCS and supervise shift activities.
Ensure batch charging and manufacturing operations comply with BMR/SOP and GMP.
Maintain online manufacturing records and data integrity.
Enter production inputs into SAP and generate required reports.

Job Description

To handle shift as shift in charge whenever required.
Follow instructions from Manager for the general shift activities.
To operate DCS as supervisor & review DCS alarms.
Ensure batch charging & other manufacturing operations should be strictly as per BMR/SOP & in line with current GMP practices while working as shift in charge.
To handle shift as shift in charge whenever required.

To maintain manufacturing records online & should comply data integrity practices.
To take out sample of intermediate/in-process material and send to IPQC/QC lab.
To enter and ensure the production related inputs in SAP system.
To be check and ensure the PISCADA reports generation.
Transfer finished goods through "Finished Goods Transfer Note".
To Check and ensure minimum stock of consumables, Log books & status labels.
Ensuring preventive maintenance of all equipment as per schedule.
Co-ordinate with service departments (QA, QC, stores, E & M) for various production related activities.
If any major abnormality found in production area / activities, authorized to stop activity immediately & inform to superiors/production Manager.
Responsible to maintain housekeeping in plant & take care the cleanliness of equipment.
Follow safety instructions/procedures & ensure use of safety outfit while on works.
To attend GMP & safety trainings & implement the trainings outcome at workplace.
To conduct training to all staff as trainer.
Should be aware of the location of firefighting equipment and should know the operation.
Report any incident, near miss in my safe portal.
Rectify all safety and GMP related observations.
He should not leave the work spot unattended and go away without prior permission from Manager.
Responsible for allotment of work to operators & casuals.
To involve in other initiatives such as AET & CSR.
Responsible to carry out the work of his senior in the absence of senior or authorization from senior.
To prepare and perform operational and performance qualification protocol.
Preparation of SOP’s, BMR, Protocol, Records etc.
He should handle DocuSign, ensure, track wise activities.
He should handle all QMS activities.
