Job summary

The Corporate Institute seeks a GST Compliance professional in Gurgaon to manage end-to-end GST compliance for clients. The role involves client handling, reporting, and team management, ensuring timely GST returns and meticulous ITC reconciliations.

You will address GST notices, stay updated on law changes, and advise internal teams on GST implications. Strong communication and deadline discipline are essential.

Job description

• – End to end client deliverable management, client handling, client reporting, team management.
• – Conduct thorough reviews of compliances with applicable GST laws.
• – Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, etc.) within statutory deadlines.
• – Reconciliation of GST input tax credit (ITC) with GSTR-2B and books of account.
• – Address and resolve GST notices and queries from tax authorities.
• – Should have worked on tax advisory, litigation, refund filings related to GST
• – Stay updated with changes in GST laws and provide insights to the management.
• – Advise internal teams on GST-related implications for various transactions.
• – Maintain accurate GST records and audit trails.
• – Assist in the preparation of tax-related reports and MIS.
• – Manage client communication on both routine and non-routine matters
• – Liaise with clients for GST-related reconciliations and queries.

Qualifications and Skills

• – Chartered Accountant.
• – 1 year of experience in GST compliance or taxation roles.
• – Proficiency in GST filing software and accounting tools (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar).
• – Strong knowledge of GST laws and regulations.
• – Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• – Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• – Strong written and verbal communication skills.
