Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Junior Executive to manage HR operations at our factory unit in Gujarat. The role will focus on statutory compliance, vendor management, recruitment of blue-collar workers, and factory administration support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Legal & Compliance: Ensure statutory compliance with PF, ESI, Factory Act, ESIC, and labor laws. Handle labor inspections, audits (PF, Factory, ESIC), and coordinate with auditors/authorities. Maintain and update statutory records, registers, and compliance documentation. Interact with PF offices, labor officers, and ensure timely renewal of labor licenses.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with labor contractors/vendors for manpower supply (plumbers, electricians, housekeeping, etc.). Monitor vendor compliance with statutory requirements. Ensure daily manpower requirements are met and address vendor shortfalls. Build and maintain a strong network of local manpower contractors.
  • Recruitment: Manage end-to-end hiring for blue-collar workers and factory staff. Source candidates through contractors, agencies, and alternate recruitment platforms. Conduct interviews, shortlisting, and onboarding formalities.
  • Statutory Handling: Liaise with government departments for statutory obligations. Resolve statutory issues independently and ensure zero non-compliance.
  • Administration: Oversee factory administrative functions such as canteen, ambulance, facilities, and employee welfare. Support in handling grievances and maintaining a safe workplace environment.
  • Communication & Documentation: Communicate effectively in Hindi and English with workers, vendors, and authorities. Prepare HR reports, maintain records, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • HR Systems & IT Familiarity: Use HR/recruitment platforms for tracking candidate/vendor data. Maintain and update HR systems for compliance and manpower management.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Graduate/Post Graduate in HR, Labor Welfare, or related field.
  • 3-9 years of experience in Factory HR/Plant HR role.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and audits.
  • Strong vendor management and recruitment skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills (Hindi & English).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
