Job summary

Gradiant, a Boston-headquartered water solutions company with global reach, invites a Commercial Finance professional to join its Chennai team. The role encompasses financial planning, analysis and reporting, and requires close collaboration with multiple departments on budgets, forecasts and project cost controls.

You will help drive accuracy and insight across the business for strategic decisions. The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of total experience in Commercial Finance and a strong SAP

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of total experience in Commercial Finance, SAP exposure.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of GST and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Receivable: coordinate billing and collections.
• Project cost estimation: coordinate with project team on cost to complete.
• Financial planning: develop plans, budgets and forecasts.
• Sales and margin analysis to identify trends.
• Prepare financial reports and analyses for management.
• Analyze and report on business performance, including revenue, gross profit, and OPEX.
• Analyze contract and customer profitability.
• Perform financial assessments of new contracts.
• GST filing and reconciliation knowledge.

Responsibilities includefinancial planning, analysis, and reporting, as well as strategic planning and collaboration with other departments.

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of total experience, with significant exposure to SAP projects.

Responsibilities :

• Accounts Receivable: Coordination with customer for billing and collection
• Project Cost Estimation: Coordination with project team on cost to complete and preparing estimation of projects
• Financial planning:Develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Analysis:Analyze sales and margins to identify trends.
• Reporting:Prepare financial reports and analysis to support management decisions.
• Business performance:Analyze and report on business performance, including revenue, gross profit, and OPEX
• Contract and customer profitability:Analyze contract and customer profitability.
• Financial assessments:Perform financial assessments of new contracts.
• Sound Knowledge on GST (Filing of returns, reconciliation and compliance)

Requirements :

Qualification – B.Com / M.Com

Experience - 4-6 years of total experience in Commercial Finance, SAP functional background.

Technical Skills - Excellent MS Office skills (Excel mainly), Skill to coordinate with other departments.
