Senior Executive - Finance at Valeo

Responsibilities

• Prepare raw material analysis reconciliation for month-end closing and forecast; perform variance analysis of actuals versus budget and forecast.
• Validate price modifications for supplier pricing based on indexation and process supplementary invoices according to price increase provisions.
• Responsible for standard cost release in SAP, using baseline data for direct and indirect costs.
• Validate the Bill of Materials and routing, including cycle-time verification and SAP manpower counts based on the approved CAA.
• Perform inventory valuation analysis for month-end closing based on standard cost release.
• Conduct slow-moving and non-moving/dead stock provision analysis for month-end closing and coordinate with the financial controller.
• Conduct cycle counts / full inventory counts using logistics reports, and implement action plans approved by the site financial controller; co-manage full inventory counts and validate variances.
• Own the Inventories Internal Control roadmap and analyze tooling inventory for month-end closings against approved customer quotations.
• Validate capacity analysis of projects during customer quote review.
• Handle project costing analysis and variance analysis comparing actuals, forecast, and budget as key variances.
• Analyze and validate project and R&D costs and revenues for the budget and mid-term plan (MTP); validate investment requests with respective departments and the financial controller.
• For both project and non-project work, liaise with Regional HQ on investment payback and indicator analysis; validate and approve all Project & R&D purchase requisitions with the respective internal order and IAR number.
